Our Process
Once we select and procure our logs, they are placed on a saw capable of cutting slabs up to 68 inches wide! Once the the log is cut into slabs, we arrange them on spacers and allow them to dry for approximately a year. The slabs are then placed in a kiln and dried down until they have a moisture level between 8% and 10%. The last thing we do to the slab is run it through our surfacer to even it out. Once that is completed, our live edge slabs are ready for builders, artisans, homeowners, and woodworkers!
